Belinda Bravo

Belinda Bravo Belinda (she/her) is an experienced senior public policy leader, who worked in the Victorian Public Service for over 18 years in education, health, mental health and alcohol and other drug policy. She is the Head of Alcohol and Other Drugs at North Richmond Community Health, where she also oversees Victoria’s only supervised injecting service.
She is passionate about improving access to healthcare, especially for individuals who have experienced discrimination and stigma accessing mainstream health services. She believes that all Victorians are entitled to participate in decision-making about their health and wellbeing, and that this must occur without judgement or assumption.
Belinda began her career as an academic and is a trained historian, having completed her PhD in History at the University of Melbourne.
