Thank You Bernadette
On behalf of the Executive of the Yarra Drug and Health Forum, I would like to formally acknowledge the work and leadership of our departing Executive Officer, Ms Bernadette Burchell.
It has been 2 years since Bernadette started with the Forum and despite most of that time being impacted by the covid curse, Bernadette’s integrity, wisdom and humanity has led the work of the Forum to champion the voices of the often unheard members of the community and for their perspectives to be respected and listened to. She has exemplified the need to be solid at the core but open at the edges.
We wish Bernadette and her family all the kindness and respect for the future.
