Director, Community Based Drug and Alcohol Responses (she/her)
Andrea has more than 20 years’ experience working on public and community health both internationally and domestically. Currently, she is the Director of Community Based Responses to Drugs and Alcohol at cohealth. Prior to this she worked for the Doherty and Burnet Institutes.
Andrea is passionate about community development and empowerment. She believes in the implementation of evidence-based responses to drug use, and a human rights-based approach to health. She is a born bureaucrat, but is happiest when her management skills are used to support vulnerable populations.
Andrea see the YDHF as critical to providing affected communities with the information they require to make informed decisions.
